However I wish the series would start from the very beginning, the story when Son Gokou was a courageous little boy who uses his innate fighting talents to help out others. Originally created in the 1980's, it's truly a blessing that western audiences finally gets to see it in english. The Dragon Ball Z series contain some of the most charismatic characters, great fighting sequences, and strong plots that covered thousands of years. When I was younger I grew up watching the whole series from start to finish, read the comic books, and played the video games. I'm just starting to feel a little nervous about the way these things are being packaged.Dragon Ball Z was, to many, one of the most influential cartoon series ever in the world. However, the price is still worth the episodes. But with the lack of episodic content here, I just can't. However, we STILL don't have any extras and we're paying the SAME price for FEWER episodes! I love this set of fighting - Piccolo, Trunks and Vegeta all get to shine like diamonds, and even Tien gets to shine. Unfortunately, still there's a complete lack of extras on these discs - aside from watching more Funimation adverts for things you already saw on the other discs because you can't skip the opening-DVD-ads.ģ0 bucks MSRP for 26 episodes? STILL over 6 discs? That's not to say the Japanese music is bad, it's just my own preference. I personally prefer the TV-release music, as Brian Falkner's music almost seems to fit the series' intense action like a glove.

Like last time, the series can be seen in the original Japanese, in the American TV release format, or in English with the Japanese music instead. The camera angles combine with the widescreen feature to create a new experience perfectly.
DRAGON BALL Z KAI SEASON 5 DUB TORRENT ANDROID
The Vegeta/Trunks vs Cell fight really pays off now, as does the Piccolo vs Android 17 fight. Crammed with more action than the previous boxset, the fights now seem actually cinematic and are rendered as such with much more care than they were the last time. The widescreening and remastering still remains with us, obviously, and unlike the last boxset.

The future version of Gohan could well have been redubbed by Kyle Hebert, in order to give Gohan one voice for each age, but Funi didn't (similarly, the re-release of the History of Trunks movie also didn't redub). Worse yet, where new VA work could be used, it's ignored. However, I'm starting to feel like false advertising is being used now. It's a little sad that way, but at least the dub still works great. However, the box set proclaims 'newly-revised English dialogue' but obviously does not deliver upon it at all. This in itself is not a bad thing, as the dub by this point had become rather solid as a whole. Funimation has decided to st ick with the original dubs made back near 2000. When it comes to the features of this boxset. So, with that said, WHAT exactly is Cell? And how do the Androids feature into this? And can anyone really take either Cell or the Androids down in the first place?

The box proclaims the fifth boxset contains the 'Imperfect and Perfect Cell sagas' - which is just a fancy way of saying it's got the Cell Saga up through the time Cell announces his 'Cell Games.' Finally, the series has gotten a release it's deserved. Mostly because it's airing in America has proven so prolific, it's popularity among anime fans is pretty much the same as it's popularity in Japan. A new villain, but at the cost of fewer episodesĮver since the late 1990s, one has really been unable to think about anime without thinking of Dragonball.
